Kempas Medical Centre successfully hosted its Antenatal Class on June 17th, 2023. Dr. Kevin, our esteemed gynaecologist, delivered an informative and engaging presentation, equipping expectant mothers with valuable knowledge to prepare for labor, birth and the imminent arrival of their babies. The class also featured the expertise of Dr. Goh Sze Chia, a paediatrician, who shared insights on preterm babies, including information about immunizations, physical exams, and child growth and development. Furthermore, we were fortunate to have Dr. Tea Wee Soon, an accomplished anesthesiologist, enlighten the attendees on the intricacies of epidural procedures for mothers. Our senior midwife, Mdm Ngu Kui Huong shared the tips on breastfeeding. Lastly, we express our gratitude to CryoCord Sdn Bhd for their generous sponsorship, which allowed us to highlight the significance of stem cells derived from cord blood in potential disease treatments.
