With the support of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Merits Society, the 1013 Campaign – One Person, One Good Deed fundraising event was held at Kempas Medical Centre on 13^th October 2024 to encourage charitable giving. Staff and patients, regardless of race or religion, opened their hearts to contribute to this noble cause. This initiative marks the significance of 13^th October, or 1013, which is synonymous with the Chinese pronunciation of yi ren yi shan and yuan li zai nan. It symbolizes 'one person, one act of kindness, to keep calamities away'.
