Meatless Monday
Meatless Monday 2020
Meatless Monday is an International campaign that encourages people not to eat meat on Monday to improve their health and the health of the planet.
In general, meats (beef, pork and lamb) have more saturated (bad) fat than vegetable proteins such as beans. 15% of human-caused global greenhouse gas emissions are created by animal agriculture, and it can take about 50 times more water to produce meat then plant-based foods.
Each Vegetarian meal will reduce risk of heart disease, obesity, cancer and Stroke. Vegetarian meal will eliminate 780 grams of Carbon dioxide, and will save 50 litres of water.
It is happening Every First Monday of the Month starting from 7th September 2020!
